Atalanta in talks for €15m Fofana

Champions League qualifiers Atalanta are in talks to sign Udinese’s €15m-rated box-to-box midfielder Seko Fofana.

Atalanta are already negotiating deals for Ruslan Malinovskyi and Luis Muriel, as well as another loan for midfielder Mario Pasalic.

However, Gianluca Di Marzio’s website writes they hope to add Fofana to that list, explaining the Dea have reached out to both his club and the player, who has already given his approval to the transfer.

Serie B: Pordenone play in Udine

Newly promoted Pordenone will officially play their Serie B games at Udinese’s Dacia Arena next season.

The club announced on their official website that they will be playing their home matches in Udine, in what will be their very first campaign in the second division.

Neroverdi President Mauro Lovisa confirmed to Sky Sport Italia in April that his side was hoping to use the Dacia Arena, as their Stadio Ottavio Bottecchia's 3,000 capacity isn’t big enough to host Serie B games.

Udinese to get Gueye via Watford

Udinese are expected to bring in Le Havre midfielder Pape Gueye on loan after he has been sold to Watford.

The two clubs are both owned by the Pozzo family, so regularly swap players between them on loans or for minimal fees.

According to The Daily Mail, Watford have a deal to purchase 20-year-old Gueye from French club Le Havre.

They then intend to immediately loan him out to Serie A side Udinese for the 2019-20 season, allowing him to gain experience.

There is no option to buy and Gueye will therefore return to Watford next summer.

Argentina to call up Musso

Argentina are expected to call up Udinese No 1 Juan Musso as a replacement goalkeeper for Copa America.

Musso should be drafted in as Boca Juniors shot-stopper Esteban Andrada suffered a knee injury in training.

The 25-year-old played 29 times for Udinese last season, keeping seven clean sheets and helping them stay in Serie A.

He has one cap for the Albiceleste, winning it against Morocco in March.

Argentina kick off their Copa America campaign on Friday evening against Colombia.

Roma 'move for Mandragora'

Roma are reportedly considering making an offer for Udinese and Italy Under-21 midfielder Rolando Mandragora.

Roma have to replace Daniele De Rossi, who left the club after 18 years, and could sell Steven N’Zonzi, despite only signing the Frenchman for an initial €26.65m last summer.

Consequently, Tuttomercatoweb is tipping the Giallorossi to make a move for Mandragora.

The Azzurrini captain joined Udinese from Juventus for €20m a year ago after spells on loan at Pescara and Crotone.
