Official: Corvino leaves Fiorentina

Fiorentina have announced that technical director Pantaleo Corvino has left the club by mutual consent.

Corvino returned to Fiorentina in the summer of 2016 but will now make way for a new technical director following Rocco Commisso’s takeover.

“Fiorentina announce, together with technical director Pantaleo Corvino, that it was mutually decided to end their relationship,” read a club statement.

“A new path has started with new owners, and it was therefore considered right to put an end to the previous technical management.

Report: EDF set for Samp

Sportitalia is reporting former Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco has agreed to take over at Sampdoria, while Riccardo Pecini and Daniele Prade will also return.

According to Sportitalia’s Michele Criscitello, there is ‘total agreement’ between Di Francesco and Samp.

It follows hot on the heels of confirmation from Sky Sport Italia that the Coach had held talks with the Blucerchiati on Monday.

Elsewhere, the Ligurians are set to bring back former chief scout Pecini from Empoli, plus ex-technical director Prade.

Napoli haggle De Paul price-tag

Napoli are confident they can haggle down the €35m Udinese asking price for Argentina international Rodrigo De Paul to just under €30m.

According to Il Mattino, Azzurri President Aurelio De Laurentiis wants to close a deal with the Pozzo family and will try to use his good relationship with the club to lower the €35m price-tag.

They are expected to bring that down to just under €30m, beating competition from Inter.

Scuffet to stay in Turkey

Udinese goalkeeper Simone Scuffet is set to spend another year on loan at Turkish club Kasimpasa.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Kasimpasa asked Udinese for a season-long extension on his current loan deal, which is due to expire at the end of this month.

The 23-year-old joined the Super Lig side in January and helped them stay afloat in his 11 appearances.

Scuffet made his debut in Serie A aged just 17, replacing the injured Zeljko Brkic in a match against Bologna in 2014, and went on to play 39 times for the Zebrette.

Udinese deal for CSKA Moscow defender

Udinese have already secured a deal for CSKA Moscow defender Rodrigo Becao, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The 23-year-old Brazilian joined CSKA Moscow from Esporte Club Bahia in the summer of 2018, initially on loan, but purchased outright for a total cost of €1.05m.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio, Udinese have struck a deal for the centre-back.

He is very tall, standing at 1.91m, and made 36 competitive appearances for his club this season.

Udinese to sign Palermo's Jajalo

Udinese have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Palermo midfielder Mato Jajalo on a free transfer.

Sportitlaia writes Jajalo will join Udinese once his contract at Palermo expires the end of the month.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international has long been on the agenda for the Zebrette, who failed in a late bid to bring him in last summer.

Napoli ready to loan Ounas

Napoli winger Adam Ounas is reportedly being tracked by Lazio, Parma and Udinese, after failing to impress Coach Carlo Ancelotti this season.

According to the Algerian website fennecfootball.com, the Biancocelesti have targeted the former Bordeaux winger as they look to strengthen their squad with Europa League competition in mind.

The 22-year-old joined the Partenopei last summer for €10m, but failed to force his way into their plans, as he started just six league games this term.

Official: Tudor stays at Udinese

Udinese have announced that Coach Igor Tudor will remain their Coach next season.

Tudor returned to Udinese in March, with the side just a point above the relegation zone in Serie A.

The former Juventus defender had already kept the Zebrette up in 2017-18, and he repeated the feat with five wins in his 10 games back at the helm.

He has signed a contract until the end of the forthcoming campaign.
