Simone Inzaghi’s men are still riled up after the extremely controversial 3-1 Serie A defeat to Torino on Monday evening, which saw Immobile sent off using VAR technology.

Inzaghi welcomes Felipe Anderson back

Simone Inzaghi “saw the responses I was looking for” and welcomed back Felipe Anderson after a 3-2 Europa League defeat to Zulte Waregem.

The Biancocelesti had come back from 2-0 down to draw in Belgium, but were undone by a ferocious shot from the edge of the box.

“Once we equalised, we should not have conceded that avoidable third goal. We ended the night without injuries, we had some good comebacks,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

Felipe Anderson returns for Lazio

Felipe Anderson is back in the Lazio squad, as Simone Inzaghi rotates for Zulte Waregem.

The Biancocelesti have already qualified for the Last 32 of the Europa League, so tonight’s game is essentially meaningless.

As a result, Inzaghi has opted not to include Ciro Immobile, Tomas Strakosha, Stefan de Vrij and several other first team players.

However, the Coach has included Felipe Anderson, and the Brazilian could make his first appearance of the season after overcoming tendinopathy.
