Done: Felipe Anderson to West Ham

Lazio forward Felipe Anderson will complete his transfer to West Ham United tomorrow for €30m plus 20 per cent of a future sale, it’s reported.

Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio claims a deal has been done for the Brazilian.

The original asking price of €50m was too high for the Hammers, but Lazio have faith that he’ll impress enough in the Premier League to earn a massive fee in future.

The Aquile will get to pocket 20 per cent of it if and when Felipe Anderson leaves West Ham.

Anderson out, Politano in?

Reports suggest Lazio want to use the money from selling Felipe Anderson to West Ham to finance a move for Sassuolo’s Matteo Politano.

The Brazilian has been linked with a summer move to the Hammers, with a deal possible for around €40m.

Now Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that part of that money would be used to get Politano as a replacement, if the Anderson deal goes ahead.

The Neroverdi demanded around €27m from Napoli in January, with the deal collapsing at the last minute.

West Ham must double Anderson bid

West Ham United today made the first formal offer for Felipe Anderson, but Lazio rejected €20m plus bonuses, it’s reported.

Sky Sport Italia claim the negotiations of the last few days prompted an initial bid faxed to the Biancocelesti.

It is said to be €20m plus bonuses, but that is far below the asking price of at least €40m, preferably €50m.

These are early days, but Lazio President Claudio Lotito drives a very hard bargain and said he turned down €50m offers for the Brazilian in the past.

West Ham close to Anderson

Felipe Anderson is edging closer to a West Ham United transfer, as the Premier League club approach the €45m asking price.

President Claudio Lotito had wanted €50m, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, would be prepared to accept €45m.

The initial proposal from the Hammers was €30m plus another €8m in bonuses, but negotiations are continuing rapidly.

It’s believed he is ready to sign a five-year deal with the Londoners worth €3.6m per season.

Hammers going for Felipe Anderson

West Ham United are in talks with Lazio for Felipe Anderson and the player gave the all-clear to continue, it’s reported in Italy and England.

There had already been suggestions earlier this week that the Brazilian was the subject of a €30m bid with €8m in various bonuses, but that was considered too low by the Aquile.

West Ham and Monaco want Anderson

West Ham United have reportedly offered €38m for Lazio’s Felipe Anderson, but the bid is too low and Monaco are also interested.

The Brazilian is under contract until 2020, and the Biancocelesti are keen to open negotiations for a new deal.

The club is offering a deal until 2022, boosting the attacking midfielder’s wages to around €2.5m per season.

There are offers from elsewhere though, with West Ham United reported by Gazzetta dello Sport to have offered €38m.

Felipe Anderson wanted in England

West Ham United aren’t the only Premier League club interested in Lazio forward Felipe Anderson, as Southampton and Leicester City want him too.

The Brazilian is on the market for the right price after the Aquile failed to qualify for the Champions League, finishing fifth thanks to a dramatic last day defeat to Inter.

This season, the 25-year-old contributed eight goals and 10 assists in 32 competitive appearances.

West Ham want Felipe Anderson

West Ham United have set their sights on pacey Lazio forward Felipe Anderson, claim reports in England.

The Brazilian just turned 25 and can play in several different roles, primarily on the right wing, but also as a support striker or a centre-forward.

His remarkable pace and dribbling skills stand him out, but he can be frustratingly inconsistent.

Sky Sports claim that West Ham United are interested in bringing Felipe Anderson to the Premier League.

Felipe Anderson depends on CL

Felipe Anderson will only remain at Lazio if they qualify for the Champions League, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Aquile are on the verge of securing a top four finish, as a win away to Crotone this afternoon would mathematically book their spot in the tournament.

This will also have a crucial knock-on effect for their transfer strategy, as the income from the Champions League is incomparable to the Europa League.
