Jorginho at Chelsea 'four more years'

Jorginho intends to stay at Chelsea “for at least another four years,” said his agent, who also denied any Maurizio Sarri call from Juventus.

The midfielder followed Sarri to Stamford Bridge from Napoli last year and won the Europa League, so there were naturally reports the pair would be reunited again at Juve.

“No, nothing of the sort happened,” agent Joao Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss.

Jorginho: 'I've learned at Chelsea'

Italy midfielder Jorginho praised Finland’s Teemu Pukki as “a complete striker” and confessed he has learned from his time at the Premier League with Chelsea.

It kicks off in Tampere on Sunday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

The Azzurri have a 100 per cent record, while the only time the Finns dropped points was in their opening 2-0 defeat to Italy back in March.

Jorginho: I don't need Sarri

Jorginho says he is determined to be remembered as a Chelsea player in his own right and not Maurizio Sarri’s protégé.

Jorginho worked with Sarri at Napoli before following him to Chesea last summer, although the Coach has since moved to Juventus.

The midfielder is now keen to carve out a reputation for himself at Stamford Bridge, under club legend Frank Lampard.

“I was a little sad seeing people thinking I arrived here only because of [Sarri],” the 27-year-old told Esporte Interativo, reports The Daily Mail.

Super Cup: Liverpool win on penalties

Liverpool beat Chelsea on penalties to win the UEFA Super Cup after a 2-2 draw, which saw Italy international Jorginho on target.

This was an all-English edition of the Super Cup in Istanbul, as Chelsea won the Europa League with Maurizio Sarri, while Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur to the Champions League.

Mohamed Salah tested Kepa Arrizabalaga early on and at the other end Pedro Rodriguez struck the crossbar from close range.

Jorginho 'not sad' about Sarri exit

Jorginho insists he was not ‘sad’ about Maurizio Sarri’s exit as he hopes to ‘add a few more assists and goals’ for Chelsea this season.

Jorginho was one of Sarri’s ‘senatori’ at Napoli and followed him to Chelsea last summer, but the Coach has since moved on to Juventus.

“It has been a new experience for me,” the midfielder told Sky Sports.

“I am liking it as I am learning, which I like to do. I am happy I got this opportunity; I like to learn and find out more.

Jorginho: More Lampard freedom

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho says playing under Frank Lampard has given him ‘more freedom and creativity’ compared to Maurizio Sarri.

Jorginho played in a three-man midfield under Sarri but has since adapted to Lampard’s double pivot, providing an assist during Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Barcelona on Tuesday.

“My characteristics are to control the game, stay in the middle and organise the team but I can adapt as well,” the Italy international told his club’s official website.

Report: No Juve for Jorginho

Juventus reportedly have no plans of reuniting Maurizio Sarri with his former Napoli and Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.

Jorginho had been tipped to follow Sarri to Juve, with his agent only fuelling the speculation.

However, The Daily Mail writes there is ‘no prospect’ of the pair working together again in Turin.
