Stephan El Shaarawy thanked Antonio Conte for his Italy recall and welcomed Jackson Martinez to Milan.

The Little Pharaoh had the ball in the net during a 1-1 draw with Croatia on Friday night, but it was incorrectly ruled offside.

“The whole game was affected by that incident, but we came here to play against a quality side like Croatia on level terms and we did it.

Milan: Jackson, now for Ibra

With Jackson Martinez in the bag, Milan President Silvio Berlusconi confirms offers for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Geoffrey Kondogbia.

Porto President Pinto Da Costa confessed on Friday evening that “Jackson has chosen Milan” with the club prepared to pay his €35m release clause.

It is rumoured that the Colombian striker agreed a salary of €4m plus performance-related bonuses.

Porto: 'Martinez has chosen Milan'

Porto President Pinto Da Costa confirmed “Jackson Martinez has chosen Milan. I want him to be happy.”

Rossoneri patron Silvio Berlusconi had already commented they were “in the final strait” for the transfer this evening.

“Before going on vacation, Jackson announced he wanted to leave,” Da Costa told Porto Canal.

“The €35m clause is not up for debate and must be paid. I learned just now that Jackson has chosen Milan.

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi confirmed “we’re on the final strait for Jackson Martinez.”

The Porto striker is close to a deal with the Rossoneri, who are prepared to pay his €35m buy-out clause.

“We are on the final strait in the negotiations for Jackson Martinez,” Berlusconi told ‘Qui studio a voi stadio.’

“He is very close to joining Milan.”

Milan push Martinez and Kondogbia

Milan await Jackson Martinez, but are also stepping up talks for Geoffrey Kondogbia with help from Doyen Sports.

The agency collaborates with Bee Taechaubol, the Thai investor who has agreed to buy 48 per cent of the club for approximately €500m.

They even released a statement congratulating ‘Mr Bee’ on the deal, noting “we look forward to working with one of the biggest Italian clubs.”

Milan: Martinez and Kondogbia

Not only are Milan set to announce Jackson Martinez, but also offered €30m for Monaco’s Geoffrey Kondogbia.

Porto striker Martinez’s agent confirmed he is “optimistic” about a move going through and told calciomercato.com that a deal could be announced as early as Friday.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the spending spree doesn’t end there, as Milan have also stepped up their attempts to sign 22-year-old Monaco midfielder Kondogbia.

Jackson Martinez’s agent is “optimistic” about a move to Milan, but “there’s no deal with the player yet.”

The Rossoneri presented their offer to the player and are prepared to pay the €35m buy-out clause in his Porto contract.

Man City scare Milan for Martinez

Italian reports suggest Manchester City have offered a more lucrative deal to Jackson Martinez than Milan.

At first Valencia and Arsenal had seemed to be the main contenders for the Colombian international, who has a buy-out clause worth €35m at Porto.

However, on Thursday afternoon Sky Sport Italia claimed Manchester City had dived in with their own proposal.

The wages on offer would be considerably higher than the package presented by Milan.

Now it is up to the striker to decide between the various alternatives.
