Perisic 'feeling good' at Bayern

Inter forward Ivan Perisic has revealed that “everything is good” on loan at Bayern Munich and has claimed he can play for “another seven or eight years”.

The 30-year-old scored one and assisted one in a 4-0 win over Hertha Berlin on Sunday and after the match he said he is feeling good both on and off the pitch in Munich.

“So far, everything is nice at Munich, both on the private and the sporting side of things,” he told Abendzeitung. “I take step by step, day by day. And then we’ll see.”

Immobile top of Golden Shoe charts

Lazio hitman Ciro Immobile has 23 goals in just 19 Serie A games, putting him out in front for the Golden Shoe 2019-20.

The award takes into account the difficulty of each European league, calculating a points system based on UEFA coefficients.

Immobile is currently out on top with 46 points (23 goals x difficulty coefficient 2), followed by Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner on 40 (20 goals x 2).

Agent: 'Allegri in no rush to return'

Max Allegri’s agent warned he is in no hurry to choose his next job. "Difficult to make predictions, as so much depends on how some clubs do in the Champions League.”

The former Milan and Juventus coach is taking a Sabbatical after winning five consecutive Serie A titles in Turin.

He was linked to numerous clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Napoli, PSG and Bayern Munich, but remains on the sidelines.

Bayern to send Perisic back

Bayern Munich will reportedly send on loan winger Ivan Perisic back to Inter at the end of the season, according to a report in Germany.

The Croatian joined the Bavarian side from the Nerazzurri in the final weeks of the transfer window as it became clear that there was little space for him in Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system.

Perisic has played regularly for Bayern, making 12 appearances in the Bundesliga and a further six in Europe.

Neuer to Juventus?

Bayern Munich No 1 Manuel Neuer could sign for Juventus in the summer, reports France Football.

The German shot stopper has been at the Bavarian side since 2011, when he moved to the Bundesliga giants from Schalke.

France Football now reports that the 33-year-old could leave Bayern at the end of the season.

That is because they have already struck an agreement with Schalke for Alexander Nubel to arrive next summer.

Did Milan reject Boateng?

Milan reportedly turned down the chance to sign Jerome Boateng from Bayern Munich this week, as his salary is too high.

The 31-year-old can play in any role of a back four and his contract with Bayern is due to expire in June 2021.

He has been linked with numerous clubs in January, including Juventus and Arsenal, but there is another to add to the list.

According to Calciomercato.it, Milan were contacted by Boateng’s representatives last week and told he was available to try an experience in Serie A.

Reina 'replacement' required by Milan

Pepe Reina’s agent Manuel Garcia Quilon has revealed that Milan would like to find a “replacement” for the goalkeeper before letting him move to Aston Villa.

The Premier League club have reportedly made a request to the Rossoneri with the hope of bringing the former Napoli keeper to Villa Park this winter.

Juve look to ter Stegen?

Juventus are said to be interested in Barcelona goalkeeper Marc ter Stegen, according to reports in Spain.

The German international has been at the Camp Nou since 2014, when he joined from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.

Spanish daily Il Mundo Deportivo claim that The Old Lady are monitoring the shot stopper as they look towards replacing Wojciech Szczesny in the summer.

The report claims that Bayern Munich and French side Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on the German No 1.

Corvino: 'Nervous wreck over Toni'

Former Fiorentina director of sport Pantaleo Corvino recalls being "a nervous wreck," after paying €10m for Luca Toni in 2005 and forcing Dani Osvaldo to return a Ferrari.

Corvino was speaking to Tuttosport about his career as a director and recalled when he signed Toni from Palermo in the summer of 2005 for €10m.

“Only five times had I signed a player with a value over €10m. The biggest one I signed was [Giovanni] Simeone at €16m. With Toni it was the first time that I had spent €10m.
