Zeman: 'Insigne last club symbol'

Former Napoli coach Zdenek Zeman has claimed Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne is ‘the last club symbol’ in Serie A and ‘the best Italian player’.

The Czech coach has praised the Partenopei captain, who has played 336 times at Napoli since coming up through the ranks in 2010.

Totti to be Insigne agent?

There are reports Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne could hire Roma legend Francesco Totti to be his agent after splitting with Mino Raiola.

This week, it was widely rumoured that Insigne had broken off the rapport with Raiola, so was looking for new representation.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, that could well be Totti, who has just opened his own talent scout agency.

Totti even joked about in during an Instagram live chat with Fabio Cannavaro, in which he said it was “all done” with Insigne.

Insigne splits from Raiola?

Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne has ended his relationship with agent Mino Raiola, according to reports.

Insigne became a Raiola client in 2018, joining the likes of Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

However, Sky Sport Italia and TV Luna reporter Carlo Alvino claims the forward is ‘no longer’ represented by the 52-year-old.

Corriere dello Sport reports a similar line, that the forward is ‘about’ to split from Raiola.

Video: Napoli stars battle it out in TV quiz

Napoli teammates Lorenzo Insigne, Kalidou Koulibaly and Sebastiano Luperto faced off in a TV quiz hosted by Gomorrah star Salvatore Esposito.

Everyone is trying to fill the time during the lockdown and Napoli set up a video quiz that they transmitted on social media.

Esposito, who plays Genny Savastano, acted as host and quizmaster, although he did visibly help Insigne with some of the answers.

The players also revealed their favourite programmes: Insigne (Gomorrah), Koulibaly (Suits) and Luperto (Prison Break).

Insigne hails Gattuso rapport

Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne confirms he has a “really good” relationship with Gennaro Gattuso and that Italy have “the aim of winning” Euro 2021.

The Napoli squad is currently in self-isolation as part of Italy’s nationwide lockdown to combat the coronavirus pandemic, and Insigne explained how he and his colleagues were coping.

“We’re all working hard at home,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

Serie A raises money for coronavirus fight

Players are donating money to hospitals and raising funds to help Italy get through the Coronavirus pandemic, including Leonardo Bonucci, Josip Ilicic and Lorenzo Insigne.

Serie A, B and C have been put into lockdown and the death toll in the country now stands at 1,441 with another 1,518 in intensive care and 17,750 currently suffering from the respiratory disease.
