Agent: ‘Insigne living a fairy tale’

Lorenzo Insigne’s agent says he’s ‘living in a fairy tale’ and is ‘dreaming of winning the Scudetto for his city’.

The forward has been in sensational form for his hometown club this season and will be central to the Partenopei’s hopes of beating Juventus on Saturday in a Scudetto showdown.

“It’ll be the match of the year, a win would be fundamental,” agent Fabio Andreotti told TuttoMercatoWeb.

Insigne: ‘Sarri gets best from us’

Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne says Maurizio Sarri ‘gets the best from us’ but that ‘Juventus are always Scudetto favourites.’

The Partenopei are two points ahead of the Bianconeri at the top of Serie A, and Insigne has been one of their star performers.

The 24-year-old has scored 10 goals and contributed nine assists in 21 appearances for Napoli this season.

“I think this is the first year that I’m doing really well, thanks to the Coach and all my teammates,” he said to Tiki Taka.

Sarri: 'Higuain best in the world'

Maurizio Sarri said Gonzalo Higuain “is becoming the best striker in Europe and perhaps the world” for Napoli.

They held on to the top of the Serie A table with a 4-2 victory away to Sampdoria, including Pipita’s 21st goal in 21 Serie A games.
