Sarri: 'Higuain best in the world'

Maurizio Sarri said Gonzalo Higuain “is becoming the best striker in Europe and perhaps the world” for Napoli.

They held on to the top of the Serie A table with a 4-2 victory away to Sampdoria, including Pipita’s 21st goal in 21 Serie A games.

“Higuain is becoming what I always thought he should be, in other words the best striker in Europe and perhaps the world,” Coach Sarri told Mediaset Premium.

Cassano: 'Career my own fault'

Insigne: ‘Napoli not battling Juventus’

Lorenzo Insigne insists Napoli “are not in a duel with Juventus”, as they’re concentrating on their own results.

The Vesuviani are two points clear at the top of Serie A, but the Bianconeri - who have won the last four Scudetti - are in second place after 10 wins in a row.

“We’re not in a duel with Juventus,” Insigne told Tgr Rai.

“We’re doing our own campaign, knowing that we can compete with anyone.

Lorenzo Insigne’s agent admits his client is flattered to be linked with Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

Verratti: ‘Higuain can bring Scudetto’

PSG midfielder Marco Verratti believes Napoli have the best player and youngster in Serie A in Gonzalo Higuain and Lorenzo Insigne.

The Partenopei’s attacking duo have been in sparkling form so far this season, scoring 23 league goals between them.
