Agent: ‘Insigne wants Napoli for life’

Lorenzo Insigne’s agent says he wants ‘Napoli for life’ and calls on the club to sign foreign players ‘who are ready.’

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a sensational season so far, scoring seven Serie A goals in 17 appearances for the Partenopei.

Verratti: ‘Higuain can bring Scudetto’

PSG midfielder Marco Verratti believes Napoli have the best player and youngster in Serie A in Gonzalo Higuain and Lorenzo Insigne.

The Partenopei’s attacking duo have been in sparkling form so far this season, scoring 23 league goals between them.

Italy international Verratti believes that Higuain has the ability to lead Maurizio Sarri’s side to the title this season.

“Insigne is the best young player in Serie A, while Higuain is definitely the best player in the league,” he said to Sky Italia.

Insigne 'rediscovered joy'

Lorenzo Insigne “has rediscovered the joy of football thanks to Maurizio Sarri,” said the Napoli man’s agent.

The home-grown talent was one of the players who struggled under Rafa Benitez and seem transformed this season.

Napoli Coach Maurizio Sarri calls Gonzalo Higuain “the best striker in the world” and lauds his “special group”.

Lorenzo Insigne “would be very happy” to get an Italy call for Euro 2016, but if not he’ll focus on Napoli.

The playmaker was dropped from Azzurri CT Antonio Conte’s most recent squad, with suggestions he was being punished for pulling out of a previous squad with injury.
