Donnarumma: 'So grateful' to Boban

Gianluigi Donnarumma is ‘so grateful’ to Zvonimir Boban, reveals he cried when Sinisa Mihajlovic left Milan and assures they are adapting to Marco Giampaolo.

Milan have won two of their first three games under Giampaolo, although without playing particularly well, and face Inter in the Derby della Madonnina on Saturday.

“It was an adrenaline rush with the last kick of the game,” Donnarumma told DAZN, describing his show of passion after his side’s 1-0 win against Verona last weekend.

Maldini reveals derby 'stress'

Milan’s Paolo Maldini has revealed that he is finding derby preparation “stressful” compared to when he was a player.

Maldini is preparing for his third Derby della Madonnina as a member of the Rossoneri’s board, and he admits it is a far cry from when he captained the club as a player.

“It’s always a great thrill, but I must say that, thank God, the importance of this derby isn’t greater than the importance of winning something this season,” the 51-year-old told Milan TV.

Maran: Cagliari aren't racist

Serie A takes out TV pirates

Lega Serie A says the arrest of an illegal TV operator is “excellent news for our country”, which makes “our world a much better place”.

One of the creators of ‘Xtream Codes’ was arrested in Greece yesterday, as part of a European investigation into the clamping-down of illegal streams known as IPTV.

It is estimated that 5m people in Italy use the platform, with around 700,000 actively connected at the time of the service’s shutdown.

Boban: Milan derby like no other

Zvonimir Boban says the Derby della Madonnina is like no other as he remembers Milan’s “crazy” 6-0 victory over Inter.

San Siro plays host to the first Milan derby of the season this Saturday, and Boban instructed the Rossoneri players to “relax” against their city rivals.

Cagliari & Verona avoid racism bans

Cagliari and Verona have both avoided punishments for racially abusing Inter striker Romelu Lukaku and Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.

The FIGC vowed to investigate the monkey chants subjected to Lukaku by Cagliari fans before the international break.

However, its Giudice Sportivo panel ruled on Tuesday that the chants were not considered discriminatory in terms of “size and real perception”.
