Report: Gagliardini negative for COVID

Sky Sport Italia reports Roberto Gagliardini’s coronavirus test at Inter has come back negative for COVID-19 and he will be available against Torino.

The Italy midfielder will reportedly resume training in view of the match against the Granata this weekend, after his coronavirus test with Italy came back ‘doubtful’.

Andrea Pinamonti returned to Appiano Gentile too, as he suffered an ankle injury in the Under-21 match against Luxembourgh.

Roma: Dzeko hopes to return against Parma

Roma forward Edin Dzeko undergoes the required COVID-19 test today, hoping to return to training ahead of this weekend’s match against Parma.

Il Messaggero reports Dzeko should be tested today, starting the race against the clock to return against the Gialloblu.

Dzeko has overcome slight symptoms after testing positive for coronavirus and the report revealed will be tested at Trigoria today.

If the result proves to be negative, the Bosnia international could begin the procedure to rejoin the group with further medical checks.

Lozano 'would like to play for Barcelona'

Napoli forward Hirving Lozano said he 'would like to play for Barcelona' in the future and admitted his first season with the Azzuri ‘was a hard year’.

Lozano moved to the San Paolo from PSV Eindhoven in August 2019 and after a tough start to life in Naples, the attacker has contributed four goals in six Serie A games this term.

The Mexico international initially struggled to convince Gattuso, but revealed he now has ‘understood how to relate to him’.

Milan defender Davide Calabria reportedly wants to renew his current terms with the Rossoneri and extend beyond June 2022.

Osimhen returns to Napoli tomorrow

Report: Vasco want Zenga and Balotelli

Vasco da Gama want to bring Mario Balotelli and coach Walter Zenga to Rio de Janeiro, according to Corriere della Sera.

After Leven Siano took over as President of the Brazilian side, the Italian Fabio Cordella has been appointed as sporting director.

Balotelli, who has been training with Franciacorta in Serie D recently, has been linked with a move to Vasco da Gama.
