Parma: 'Kulusevski will stay'

Team manager Alessandro Lucarelli insists Dejan Kulusevski will stay at Parma until the summer, advising him to “not look at what’s written about him.”

The Sweden starlet is on loan from Atalanta this season and has really found his feet with the Ducali, attracting interest from the top teams in Serie A.

Despite that, Lucarelli told TV Parma: “He will stay with us until the end of the season. He is a very young boy and must not look at what is written about him.

Serie A in new racism row

Lega Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo has defended moving microphones to avoid picking up racist chants. “It’s a television product, not censorship.”

The controversy exploded after La Repubblica newspaper published an extract from a secretly-taped recording of De Siervo speaking to several Serie A club representatives in September.

These included chiefs of Atalanta, Inter, Milan and Udinese, as he was speaking directly to Rossoneri President Paolo Scaroni about the New York Times story.

Rocchi hits back at Ancelotti

Gianluca Rocchi has hit back at Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti for suggesting VARs officiated Serie A games rather than the referees themselves.

Ancelotti cut a frustrated figure at the recent VAR meeting in Rome as it came just weeks after Napoli drew 2-2 with Atalanta, despite the technology not being consulted over a blatant penalty call.

Inter suffer Gagliardini blow

Inter have confirmed that Roberto Gagliardini will be out with tendon damage in his right foot.

Borja Valero came on to replace Gagliardini during the 2-1 win against SPAL on Sunday, and tests have now revealed ”tendon damage in the sole of his right foot“.

Inter coach Antonio Conte didn’t need another injury to a midfielder, as Stefano Sensi is set to travel to Munich for more treatment to his psoas muscle.

Boga: 'I don't regret Chelsea'

Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga reveals he is Olympique Marseille’s “No 1 fan” and doesn’t regret failing at Chelsea. “Maybe I’ll be back one day...”

Boga joined Sassuolo from Chelsea in the summer of 2018, having been unable to establish himself for the Blues.

He admits it was a “shame” that he didn’t succeed at Stamford Bridge first time around but is open to having a second crack.

Atleti target Serie A strikers?

Atletico Madrid are struggling in La Liga and are reportedly looking at Milan’s Krzysztof Piatek and Torino’s Andrea Belotti ahead of the transfer window.

After Antoine Griezmann left for Barcelona last summer, Atleti have been struggling for goals and are currently sixth in La Liga after 15 games.

AS reports Los Rojiblancos are in the market for a striker and that they could offer to take the misfiring Piatek on loan from Milan.

Pjanic: 'Juve not 10 points behind!'

Miralem Pjanic has warned Inter that Juventus “are a point behind, not 10” in the race at the top of Serie A.

Juve remain unbeaten this season but fell to a 2-2 draw with Sassuolo on Sunday, allowing Inter to leapfrog them into first place as they beat SPAL 2-1.

“We are not even halfway through the season, we have faced so many strong teams,” Pjanic said from the Gran Gala del Calcio in Milan last night.

Ranieri: 'Last 15 minutes cost us'

Claudio Ranieri was “amazed” by Sampdoria’s 4-3 defeat to Cagliari last night but felt the “last 15 minutes” cost them all three points.

Samp threw away a 3-1 lead deep in injury time, and Ranieri confessed to having “regrets” after the seven-goal thriller at the Sardegna Arena.

“Tonight was amazing. It’s a shame because we did everything right except for the last 15 minutes,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

Zapata: 'Complicated injury'

Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata might not be back in time to face Shakhtar Donetsk as he admits his injury has been “serious and complicated”.

The Colombian was expected to return after the next match in Serie A, but he conceded he was still unsure.

“There’s still no precise date set for my return,” Zapata told Sky Sport Italia. “I don’t know when I’ll be back.

“I need to heal because this injury to the tendon is very serious and complicated.

The winners for the 2019 Gran Gala del Calcio have been announced, with Atalanta and Juventus scooping up the most awards.

The ceremony took place in Milan on Monday evening, recognising Italian football’s best performers of last season.

Cristiano Ronaldo took home the biggest prize of best player, having helped Juve win their eighth straight Scudetti with his 21 Serie A goals.
