Inter-Genoa 5-4: Four penalties

When Andrea Stramaccioni’s Inter beat Genoa 5-4 on April 1, 2012, both sides finished the match with 10 men in the last Serie A match containing four penalties.

Four penalties in one single game have only been awarded seven times throughout the history of Serie A and the record has never been beaten.

Three of the times it has happened whilst Inter play at home, the first in a 4-2 win over Atalanta in 1988-89, and the last time in a thriller ending 5-4 against the Rossoblu in 2011-12.

Lulic. 'We never targeted the Scudetto'

Captain Senad Lulic claims Lazio’s target ‘has never been to win the Scudetto’ and praised Simone Inzaghi for bringing the Aquile back to the Champions League.

After another setback against Milan last weekend, the Biancocelesti trail Juventus by seven points in Serie A and their chances of winning a third Scudetto are fading.

But the captain insisted it was never the main objective and claimed Inzaghi has done well to bring them to the Champions League.
