Atalanta captain Alejandro Gomez claims Diego Simeone wanted to bring him to Atletico Madrid after their time together at Catania.

Papu shows 'bold' new look

Atalanta star Alejandro Gomez has shown off his ‘bold’ new look, to the bemusement of teammates past and present.

Hairdressers and barbers have been forced to close during the coronavirus pandemic, so many have turned to cutting their own hair.

Gomez is one of them, seemingly opting for a number zero all over, in a drastic change from his usual short-back-and-sides.

“So many have criticised my hair that I decided to give it a cut,” he captioned his bald head, referring to the mixed reception of his bleached look.
