Insigne: 'Napoli 10 is mine'

Lorenzo Insigne thanked Coach Maurizio Sarri for allowing him to play as a trequartista for Napoli. “I feel the Number 10 jersey is mine.”

Nobody wears the legendary 10, which became iconic on the back of Diego Armando Maradona, and Insigne currently has 24.

“The Number 10 jersey is untouchable and was worn by the best player in the world, so it’s only right that it remains empty. However, I do feel it is mine in a way,” the local lad told Sky Sport Italia.

“I don't know if I'll be leaving Napoli,” he told Radio de La Plata. “Reina came in and he's a good keeper, with a great name.

“I'd like to have the same continuity that I enjoyed at the end of the last season.
