Motta agent on Milan rumours

Thiago Motta's agent has reacted quickly to whispers that city rivals Milan are keen on the Inter player.

Today's Tuttosport front page suggests that the new Italian champions are interested in the Brazilian-born Italian international.

However, contacted by TMW, the midfielder's representative says he's surprised by the association.

"I know absolutely nothing about Milan," Dario Canovi noted. "Inter haven't told us anything and I don't like to talk about speculation.

Allegri wants display of champions

The title may already have been won, but Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri is still demanding a performance against Cagliari.

There will be a party atmosphere at the Stadio Meazza following the club's Scudetto success last week, yet the tactician doesn't want to disappoint the fans against his former club.

"There won't be that concentration that there is before big games, but we don't want to embarrass ourselves," he said on Friday.

Ibrahimovic-Kaka exchange?

Spanish newspapers are reporting that Real Madrid and Milan are planning a sensational Kaka-Zlatan Ibrahimovic exchange deal.

The Rossoneri have declared several times through President Silvio Berlusconi and Vice-President Adriano Galliani this week that they'd welcome back Kaka “with open arms.”

The Brazilian and former Ballon d'Or winner has struggled for form since joining Real in a then world record £56m deal in 2009.

He has also been linked with Chelsea, but a return to Milan seems more likely after his knee operation.

Van Bommel 'couldn't say no to Milan'

The 34-year-old joined from Bayern Munich in January for the final six months of his contract and is one of several players yet to negotiate a new deal.

“I am very happy here, but it's not up to me. The decision is the club's to make,” Van Bommel told Calcio 2000.

The tactics of Allegri

Despite having a great Milan squad at his disposal, Massimiliano Allegri deserves credit for his tactical acumen, says Rob Paton

Gifted a plethora of attacking talent in the close season to work with, it was easy to foresee Milan's challenge for a first Scudetto in seven years, but few would have anticipated the importance Massimiliano Allegri's tactics and approach would play.

Nagatomo expected Milan Final

Yuto Nagatomo has admitted he would rather be playing Milan and not Palermo in the Coppa Italia Final.

The Rosanero will meet Inter in the May 29 tie after the two sides came through their semi-final clashes this week.

Seedorf demands Milan respect

Clarence Seedorf has hit out at Milan's decision to leave it so late into the season to discuss contract renewals.

Seedorf is one of numerous high profile players at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza outfit whose contract expires next month.

"The club asked us to wait until we had won the Scudetto and that's what we did," he told the Corriere dello Sport.

"Now we want clarity and respect. You don't treat flag bearers of this club like this," he continued.

Milan in Lamela talks

Milan officials met with the agent of River Plate ace Erik Lamela, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

After chasing Santos player Ganso for months, it is being suggested that the new Italian champions may be switching their attention to the Argentine instead.

The pink paper claims that Rossoneri director Ariedo Braida met with Lamela's representative Marcelo Simonian on Wednesday.

It's understood that Milan, who had a €12m bid rejected for him six months ago, will make a fresh offer for the 19-year-old talent.
