Seedorf demands Milan respect

Clarence Seedorf has hit out at Milan's decision to leave it so late into the season to discuss contract renewals.

Seedorf is one of numerous high profile players at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza outfit whose contract expires next month.

"The club asked us to wait until we had won the Scudetto and that's what we did," he told the Corriere dello Sport.

"Now we want clarity and respect. You don't treat flag bearers of this club like this," he continued.

Pirlo, Pastore and Aguero for Juve

Juventus will have the funds to launch bids for Javier Pastore and Sergio Aguero this summer, reports claim.

The Italian media are suggesting that Juve's parent company Exor will pump between €100m and €200m into the outfit before the start of next season.

Although the club have made no official announcement regarding how much cash will be injected into the side, that hasn't stopped media sources speculating on targets.

Milan in Lamela talks

Milan officials met with the agent of River Plate ace Erik Lamela, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

After chasing Santos player Ganso for months, it is being suggested that the new Italian champions may be switching their attention to the Argentine instead.

The pink paper claims that Rossoneri director Ariedo Braida met with Lamela's representative Marcelo Simonian on Wednesday.

It's understood that Milan, who had a €12m bid rejected for him six months ago, will make a fresh offer for the 19-year-old talent.

The 'inho' you can rely on

Considered a slacker and a showboater in England, Robinho has defied expectations by playing a starring role in Milan's Scudetto triumph. Scott Fleming writes

There's one member of Milan's Scudetto winning squad that would have spent Saturday on the bench at Goodison Park, instead of partying at the Olimpico, if he hadn't taken a gamble.

Having fallen out of favour at Manchester City, Robinho spent the second half of last season on loan at boyhood club Santos, where aged just 15 he was dubbed Pele's heir by the great man himself.

Pirlo: No Milan decision yet

Andrea Pirlo says he has yet to talk to Milan about a new deal as rumours of a Juventus switch intensify.

Pirlo is out of contract next month and it is unclear whether the Rossoneri will offer him an extension or not.

"The Milan fans still want to see me in Rossonero? Let's hope so," he stated. "I'll talk to the club and then we'll make a decision."

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are preparing to tempt the veteran away from San Siro.

Mancini on Ibra, Tevez and Balotelli

Is Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini hoping to replace the Italy-bound Carlos Tevez with Zlatan Ibrahimovic?

City are looking to strengthen over the summer after last night ensuring a top four finish and thus qualifying for next year's Champions League.

And they are being linked with a bid for Milan man Ibrahimovic this morning after Mancini seemingly made room for him in the side.

"If Zlatan wants to come to City, I would immediately find him a place," the tactician, who worked with Ibrahimovic at Inter, told the Sun.

Gattuso on Leo chant row

Gennaro Gattuso has defended himself for singing along with Milan fans in a chant abusing Inter boss Leonardo.

The incident took place on Saturday at the Stadio Olimpico after the Rossoneri's 0-0 draw at Roma ensured the title.

"I always take responsibility for myself," the 2006 World Cup winner told La Repubblica.

"All this fuss for a prank seems exaggerated. If I could go back in time, given all the mess it has caused, I wouldn't do it again."
