Milan stance stuns Ambrosini

Milan's decision to wait until the end of the season to discuss contract renewals has surprised Massimo Ambrosini.

The captain is one of numerous high-profile players whose present agreements will expire next month.

"Perhaps they have behaved in this way because there are so many players with their contracts expiring.

Borriello back at Milan?

Marco Borriello could return to Milan at the end of the season after a disappointing second half of the campaign at Roma.

The Italian international joined the Giallorossi on loan in August with the understanding that the capital giants would then sign him outright for €10m.

Although Roma are still willing to do that, Milan may not enforce the agreement in order to get Borriello back at San Siro.

The Rossoneri are looking for a new centre-forward and have been associated with Porto sensation Hulk.

"I could get a new tattoo to celebrate the Scudetto, but also the Coppa Italia. However, the victory I want more is a contract with Milan," he told the Corriere dello Sport.
