Robinho injured by TV camera

Robinho has suffered a freak knee injury when clattering into a television camera during Milan's Dubai friendly.

The Rossoneri beat Al-Ahli 2-1, but the Brazilian had to be stretchered off in the final stages.

He did not spot the television camera on the touchline and fell straight into it during a challenge.

Robinho landed with his knee on the base of the camera and was stretchered off with strapping on the knee.

There is no word yet from the club on whether there has been any serious damage or if it is only a knock.

Allegri: 'I'd like to coach Balotelli'

Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri claims he would like to coach Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli one day in the future.

The precocious Italy international scored a hat-trick in the Premier League this week, although his homesickness and desire to join Milan is no secret.

Balotelli is a self-proclaimed Milan supporter, even going so far as to don the red and black shirt during his time with Inter.

"I would willingly coach Balotelli," Allegri said. "But it would be difficult given that we have so many champions in our team."

River Plate want €18m for Lamela

Milan will have to dig deep if they are to sign River Plate starlet Erik Lamela after the Argentine club slapped an €18m price tag on top talent.

Lamela has caught the eye of Milan's scouts, prompting the club's director of sport Ariedo Braida to watch him in person earlier this year.

Milan had reportedly planned to bid €12m for the young playmaker who has drawn comparisons with Barcelona's Lionel Messi.

However, Argentine newspaper Clarin understands River Plate won't sell Lamela for anything less than €18m.
