Milan receive Pato boost

Alexandre Pato could return from injury in time for Milan's possible title win against Roma this weekend.

The Brazilian has been absent since he strained a thigh muscle in the April 16 win against Sampdoria.

The youngster trained with the squad this morning, although he didn't take part in the end of session practice match.

Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri will monitor the Brazilian in training for the rest of the week before making a decision on whether to include him in the squad.

Milan put Pirlo future on hold

Milan won't make a decision on the future of Andrea Pirlo until the campaign has come to an end, says Massimiliano Allegri.

The Rossoneri playmaker has just a matter of months left on his agreement and is reportedly being chased by clubs such as Juventus, Chelsea and Roma.

"This is not the time to be talking about such things," Milan boss Allegri said when quizzed on the contract situation of the 2006 World Cup winner.

"The club will sit down with the player at the end of the season and decide what to do."

'Pirlo could join Juventus'

Former Napoli director general and transfer expert Pierpaolo Marino believes Juventus could land Andrea Pirlo.

The midfielder's future at Milan is in doubt given that his contract is set to expire in June, which would make him available on a Bosman.

Boss Massimiliano Allegri has admitted that Milan won't consider offering the player a new deal until the season ends, a stance which could favour Juventus.

"Of all the Milan players whose contracts are coming to an end, Pirlo is the least likely to renew," Marino told Controcampo.

Milan unveil new stripes

Serie A leaders Milan have this afternoon unveiled their new home shirt for the 2011-12 campaign.

Adidas have taken inspiration from history after the jerseys were modelled by Mark Van Bommel, Clarence Seedorf and Luca Antonini.

The black and red stripes are thinner than they have been in recent times, while the Adidas stripes are boldly represented on the shoulders in white.

Seedorf: 'No Milan offer, so...'

Clarence Seedorf can taste Milan's Scudetto, but admits he has “not received any contract renewal offer and am considering other proposals.”

The Dutch veteran's current deal expires on June 30 and he could walk away on a Bosman transfer with offers from several Brazilian clubs.

Seedorf was chosen as one of the models for the new 2011-12 Rossoneri jersey today, but could well not be at the club next season.

“I am an Adidas player, so I'm here for them as much as Milan,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

Malesani: 'Milan win not a given'

Alberto Malesani has no intention of making Milan's Scudetto celebrations easy. “Bologna's defeat is not a given.”

The Rossoneri cannot clinch the title today even with a victory, as Inter and Napoli both won their Saturday games.

However, a win would mean they'd need only one point from their remaining three matches to secure the Serie A crown.

“Milan are a fantastic squad and I adore them, but my lads are concentrated and Bologna's defeat is not a given,” warned Coach Malesani.
