Napoli offer €50m for Lozano

Napoli are close to agreeing a €50m transfer fee, including bonuses, for PSV Eindhoven forward Hirving Lozano, but image rights are a problem.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Mexico international has given the all-clear to the move and PSV would be satisfied with the offer on the table.

It’d reach around the €50m asking price, with performance-related bonuses included, beating the bid from Manchester United.

However, there is a very large stumbling block in the form of his image rights.

Napoli ask Atlanta Utd for Barco

Napoli have reportedly targeted Atlanta United’s 20-year-old Argentine Ezequiel Barco as the ideal Hirving Lozano alternative.

According to Tuttosport, Lozano is becoming so difficult to prise away from PSV Eindhoven for under €50m that they could be forced to look elsewhere.

That search has taken them to MLS for Barco, who only turned 20 in March and contributed four goals with three assists in 12 competitive games this season.

Napoli cool on €50m Lozano

PSV Eindhoven want €50m for forward Hirving Lozano, but Napoli are only willing to pay somewhere in the region of €35m-€37m for the Mexico international.

According to TuttomercatoWeb, the two clubs are quite a distance away from finding an agreement, with the Eredivisie side refusing to budge from their €50m valuation, while the Azzurri deem the fee to be too high.

Manchester United remain interested in 'Chucky' Lozano and could pay the asking price.
