Serie B: Brescia fire another coach

President Massimo Cellino strikes again, firing coach Davide Dionigi just two weeks after signing a new contract, so Brescia are looking for their fifth coach of the campaign.

The notoriously trigger-happy club patron has always managed to go through coaches at Cagliari, Leeds United and now Brescia.

Following protests from fans and four consecutive defeats in Serie B, Cellino has fired Dionigi.

It’s a sudden turnaround, considering Dionigi only signed a new contract two weeks ago, holding him to the club until June 2022.

“I know that Beppe Marotta really wanted Tonali, and that Antonio Conte appreciated him, so I think his agent had agreed terms with Inter,” Cellino told Top Calcio 24.
