Boga dreaming about CL

Sassuolo star Jeremie Boga has revealed that he is dreaming about winning the World Cup and the Champions League during his career.

The former Chelsea player has impressed in Serie A this term and has won over the Sassuolo fans with his skills at the MAPEI Stadium.

But the Ivorian 23-year-old, with a past on loan at Stade Rennais, Granada and Birmingham, has revealed that he has some big dreams for his career.

Tankovic has Genoa medical

Swedish striker Muamer Tankovic has landed in Genoa for his medical ahead of a move to the Serie A side.

Tankovic is making the transfer from Hammarby, where he has played since 2017, and will reportedly cost the Rossoblu €2m.

The club needed a striker after Christian Kouame ruptured his ACL while playing for the Ivory Coast U23s last week.

Kouame will be out of action until June 2020 following surgery.

Kouame: 'Smile at setbacks'

Genoa striker Christian Kouame thanked fans for their support after a devastating knee injury. “I face every situation with a smile.”

The forward was on international duty with the Ivory Coast Under-23 team against South Africa when he was stretchered off with a knee injury.

Tests today confirmed he has torn his anterior cruciate ligament, which means five to six months on the sidelines.

“I have always been accustomed to facing every situation with a smile,” wrote Kouame on Instagram.

ACL rupture for Kouame?

Genoa striker Christian Kouame is feared to have ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament during the Ivory Coast's U23 match against South Africa.

According to Sky Sport Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, Kouame was taken off in the 72nd minute after a clash with a South African player.

The 21-year old has already returned to Italy from Egypt, where the game took place, to be assessed by the Genoa team doctors.

He will undergo tests tomorrow to determine the severity of the injury, but initial reports suggest it doesn't look good.

Bony: 'Talking to Italian clubs'

Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony confirmed his agent “is talking with some clubs in Italy and Turkey also. We’re waiting for the best offer.”

The 30-year-old centre-forward is currently training with League Two side Newport County in Wales after his Swansea City contract expired.

Bony spent the last six months on loan with Al-Arabi.

“I need to train with a team to be fit before I find a new team,” Bony told BBC Sport Wales.

Report: Inter bid €70m for Pepe

France Football claim Inter are ready to offer €60-70m for Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pepe, the jewel of Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille.

Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio have made 23-year-old Pepe one of their main transfer targets for this summer.

According to the latest rumours coming out of France, the Milanese club have taken the first steps in signing the Ivorian striker.

Lille would need a fee somewhere in the range of €60m to part with their star, who has scored 20 times in 35 games this season.

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has been omitted from the shortlist for the 2018 African Player of the Year, but Juventus’ Medhi Benatia is in.

Koulibaly’s exclusion has been heavily criticised on social media, given he helped Napoli finish second in Serie A last season, represented Senegal at the World Cup and is considered one of the world’s best centre-backs on current form.

The 70-year-old Swede shows no signs of slowing down his career.

FIFA announced that he was today appointed as the new manager of the Philippines national team.

It’s his fourth country as a Coach after England, Mexico and the Ivory Coast.

Milan are reportedly fighting off huge proposals from Paris Saint-Germain and Chinese club Beijing Guoan for Franck Kessie.

The 21-year-old Ivory Coast international arrived from Atalanta last summer and has been practically ever-present.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, a massive offer has arrived from Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan, with the salary worth an extraordinary €10m per year.

Agent: 'Seri in Napoli talks'

Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri’s agent confirms they are “in talks with Napoli and he’s tempted” by the move.

The 26-year-old Ivory Coast international is only under contract with OGC Nice until June 2019, so a sale is very likely this summer.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are also known to be interested, but Napoli have emerged as new contenders.

“We are in talks with Napoli and he’s tempted by the idea of wearing the jersey,” agent Franklin Mala told Radio Kiss Kiss.
