‘Milan want Auba, Kalinic & Costa’

Massimiliano Mirabelli confirms Milan are interested in signing Nikola Kalinic, Diego Costa and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who “would be fate”.

Milan have been on the lookout for a striker to complement their purchase of Andre Silva all summer, and Mirabelli revealed the three names his club had settled on, notably leaving out Torino’s Andrea Belotti.

“Aubameyang would be fate: he was the first player I went to see live, my first [scouting] trip was for him,” the sporting director told QS.

'Falcao and Ibrahimovic Milan options'

CEO Marco Fassone confirmed Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Radamel Falcao “are among the six or seven names” being considered for Milan.

The Rossoneri bought 10 new players this summer, spending over €210m, but still need a centre-forward.

“We continue talking about a striker, but must use our time wisely,” Fassone told Sky Sport Italia.

“We’re working on it, there mustn’t be any sense of haste, as we don’t want to make a mistake.”

‘Costa only wants Atleti’

Diego Costa’s lawyer says the rumoured Milan target “doesn’t want to play for any team other than Atletico Madrid”.

The striker was told by Chelsea manager Antonio Conte that he’s surplus to requirements via text message, but it appears the Blues don’t want to sell him to Atleti, who have a transfer ban until January.

That has led to rumours he could join the Rossoneri instead, but his representative is taking a hard line.

Milan still in for Costa

Milan are still interested in Diego Costa, reports suggest, but the Chelsea striker wants Atletico Madrid.

The Rossoneri are trying to sign a striker this summer, and have been linked with a move for the Spanish international.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, they are currently negotiating with both Chelsea and agent Jorge Mendes over a possible deal.

The Blues would prefer to sell to Milan, as they’re irritated by Costa’s stance in only wanting Atleti, but the Spanish club remain positive they can sign him in January.
