Mauro Icardi insists “I can only wish the best for Inter in every competition” and expects Romelu Lukaku to “settle in and score so many goals.”

Icardi moved on loan to Paris Saint-Germain over the summer, having been frozen out by new boss Antonio Conte, but the striker made it clear he felt no resentment towards his parent club.

“I didn’t expect so much support from the fans,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Lotito: 'Lazio players, be more like me!'

President Claudio Lotito lambasted his Lazio squad and Coach Simone Inzaghi, warning they must “repay” the larger salary bill. “If I was on the pitch, we’d get better results.”

The patron did not hold back in an interview with the Corriere dello Sport, making it clear he won’t be blamed by fans for poor results.

“After Juventus, Lazio are the club that has won the most in the last eight years. Fiorentina won nothing, Napoli had less than us,” insisted Lotito.

Lotito: 'Lazio lost because of De Vrij'

President Claudio Lotito claims Lazio “lost the game because of Stefan de Vrij” and he should’ve forced the defender not to play against Inter in May 2018.

The centre-back allowed his contract to run down and had already signed for Inter when he played in the final game of the 2017-18 season.

It was a head-to-head for a Champions League place and Inter won 3-2 at the Stadio Olimpico.
