EL: Besiktas or Rio Ave for Milan

Milan will face Besiktas or Rio Ave in the Europa League playoffs if they beat Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt.

Milan set up a third qualifying round tie with Bodo/Glimt after they beat Shamrock Rovers 2-0 last night.

However, potentially awaiting them in the playoffs are Adem Ljajic’s Besiktas, who finished third in the Turkish Super Lig last season.

Failing that, they will face Rio Ave, who achieved a joint-club best ranking of fifth in the Portuguese top tier.

There are other options on the table, as Parma and Genoa could both give him the opportunity to remain in Serie A.

Napoli prepare Osimhen paperwork

Napoli are expected to finalise the details of the Victor Osimhen transfer on Monday, with Orestis Karnezis potentially part of the deal with Lille.

According to Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia and the Corriere dello Sport, amongst others, we are down to the final paperwork for the 21-year-old striker.

Despite the reports in France and Nigeria of a deal worth €81m, in Italy they have never budged from the €60m mark and that does seem more realistic for Napoli.
