Kaka: Milan on right track

Kaka believes Milan are finally ‘on the right track’ with Paolo Maldini set for the role of technical director.

Maldini is expected to be joined on Milan’s new-look board by Zvonimir Boban and possibly more of his former Milan teammates.

With that in mind, could Kaka be one of them?

“Boban and I talked about a lot of things, but he didn’t tell me anything about his future,” the Brazilian told Sky Sport Italia.

“I’m so sorry that they missed out on the Champions League by just one point.

Kaka eyes Milan return

Kaka has confirmed that he would like to return to Milan, ‘possibly as a sporting director’.

Kaka ended his playing career two years ago and has been studying towards an executive role in football, amidst speculation Leonardo will leave Milan at the end of the season.

“I’m preparing to return to football, possibly as a sporting director,” the Rossoneri icon told Fox Sports Brasil.

“I’ll finish a sports management course in August and we’ll see what happens from there.

Pirlo's still got it for Milan

Andrea Pirlo and Giuseppe Pancaro were on target for Milan Glorie in a 3-2 defeat to Liverpool Legends at Anfield.

Kaka: 'Paqueta ready for Brazil'

Ricky Kaka is confident new Milan signing Lucas Paqueta “is ready to wear the Number 10 for Brazil and write a great story.”

The creative midfielder was handed the iconic jersey for today’s friendly against Panama.

“It’s wonderful to see this rapport between Milan and Brazil, especially as Paqueta played for Flamengo and that is another connection between the Rossoneri and my land,” Kaka told Sky Sport Italia.

Zaniolo: My footballing idol...

Roma starlet Nicolo Zaniolo has revealed that Milan legend Kaka ‘has always been my idol’ in football.

Zaniolo has been arguably Italy’s breakthrough talent of the season, scoring five goals for Roma in all competitions, and the attacking midfielder admits he tried to model his game on Kaka as opposed to Giallorossi icon Francesco Totti.

“My idol has always been Kaka – I loved his way of playing. It was a beautiful thing to watch when he touched the ball,” the 19-year-old told the club’s official website.

Paqueta: 'I'd love to follow Kaka'

Galliani: Monza wanted Kaka

Adriano Galliani has confirmed that he did try to engineer a reunion with former Milan star Kaka at Monza.

It was reported back in October that Monza were hoping to get Kaka out of retirement for a season in Serie C, but Galliani admitted the Brazilian did not want to leave his children.

“I handle the club with the same enthusiasm I had at Milan,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Paqueta: 'Dream of being like Kaka'

Lucas Paquetà has landed in Italy to begin training with Milan after his €35m transfer from Flamengo. “My dream is to do as well as Kaka.”

The 21-year-old becomes the most expensive ever deal from a Brazilian club to Serie A and said goodbye to family and friends at the airport.

He was accompanied on the flight to Milan by father Marcelo, mother Cris, brother Matheus and wife Duda, as well as Rossoneri director Leonardo.

Kaka: Ronaldo a 'great person'

Former Milan midfielder Kaka has hailed ex-Real Madrid teammate and Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo as ‘a great person’.

Kaka played with Ronaldo for three years at Real Madrid, until the Brazilian returned to Milan in 2013, and he could only speak highly of the No 7.

“Cristiano is not only a champion but also a great person,” he told SporTV.

“He was always attentive, thoughtful and available to everyone in the dressing room. Okay, maybe he was a little vain… but he always behaved well.
