Leeds to sign Jansson permanently if…

Pontus Jansson will join Leeds United permanently from Torino if he makes 20 appearances this season.

The defender recently moved to the English Championship club on an initial loan deal from the Granata.

However, the Swede has told Radio Leeds that a clause in the deal states the Elland Road side will be obliged to sign him on a full-time basis should he feature often enough.

The centre-back began his career in his homeland with Malmo before joining Toro in 2014.
