PSG and Valencia ask after Icardi

Paris Saint-Germain and Valencia have sent representatives to discuss a possible loan deal for Inter outcast Mauro Icardi.

The striker is suing the club for €1.5m in damages and demanding to be allowed back into full training sessions, even though he is not part of Coach Antonio Conte’s plans for this season.

He has rejected many other proposals, including Napoli, Roma and Monaco, while Atletico Madrid made only a broad approach.

He had been in the Premier League since 2011 at Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and from 2017 Old Trafford.

“Romelu hasn't been appreciated for most of the time he's been in the British game,” Martinez told the Daily Mail.

He had several court cases on his record involving drug dealing and it’s believed the murder was motivated by these criminal links.
