Lavezzi responds to boos

Ezequiel Lavezzi has published a brief note on his official website today responding to Napoli fans who booed him on Sunday night.

The previously popular attacker was whistled by sections of the San Paolo crowd during the Vesuviani’s win over Siena amid reports that he is in talks to join Inter in the summer.

Lavezzi, who has recently intimated that the rumours could be true, has taken to his own website to offer a response.

Forlan wants to stay

Contrary to all other reports on the matter, Diego Forlan has denied that he is in talks to leave Inter this summer, stating clearly that he intends to stay.

The Uruguayan has struggled for form and fitness in his single season so far at San Siro and has been widely expected to depart the Nerazzurri this summer.

Inter set to plan future

Inter President Massimo Moratti has warned the club will only keep those players worthy of the Nerazzurri jersey.

Cambiasso demands Inter rebirth

Esteban Cambiasso has reiterated that Inter will have to return to being competitive next season.
