Obi 'cannot explain' red card

Joel Obi admits he “cannot explain” why he was sent off against Napoli, but still apologised to Inter.

Cambiasso: 'Hard to stay calm'

Esteban Cambiasso feels the Napoli incidents were only the latest refereeing errors against Inter. “It's hard to be calm in these situations.”

Tales of the unexpected

Faced with the seemingly unstoppable Manchester City and little known Trabzonspor, neither Champions League debutants Napoli or 2010 winners Inter conformed to expectations. Scott Fleming summarises an unusual night for Italy's representatives on the continent.

Some Coaches might have gushed about how proud they were of their players, how honoured they were to participate against such esteemed opposition in such grand surroundings. Not Walter Mazzarri.

Friends reunited

Supposedly 'predestined' for greatness, Davide Santon has joined fellow Inter exile Mario Balotelli in England. Scott Fleming discusses the defender's Newcastle switch.

They came from nowhere. Inter had forgotten they had a youth academy. For a time simply being foreign was enough to qualify you for a first team shirt, and there was a better chance of seeing a Dodo in Nerazzurri colours than a young Italian.
