Marchisio in doubt for Derby d'Italia

Juventus are sweating over the fitness of Claudio Marchisio ahead of this weekend's Derby d'Italia against Inter.

The Italy international midfield "overworked" his left adductor muscle in Saturday's 3-1 win over Cagliari.

He underwent a series of tests yesterday to ascertain the severity of the injury.

Juventus' medical staff hopes to recover Marchisio in three or four days' time, but the doubt remains.

Mourinho wins Panchina d'Oro

Jose Mourinho has been awarded the Panchina d'Oro award for his achievements with Inter last season.

The Special One won the treble in the 2009-10 campaign before leaving for Real Madrid.

Mourinho was bitter to lose out on last year's award which went to Max Allegri who was then in charge of Cagliari.

This year he beat off competition from Gigi Del Neri and Claudio Ranieri, who finished second and third respectively.

Milito out for a month

Inter's Champions League hopes have been hit by an injury to Diego Milito which could see him sidelined for 40 days.

The Argentine, who has had fitness issues all season, picked up a muscle problem in Sunday's 5-3 win over Roma.

The 2010 World Cup striker underwent scans earlier today which confirmed a muscle strain in his left thigh.

At this stage, Inter expect Milito to be out of action for 30-40 days which will come as a huge blow to boss Leonardo.

Line-ups: All-attack Inter and Roma

Inter and Roma are going on the attack with Giampaolo Pazzini, Samuel Eto'o and Wesley Sneijder against Marco Borriello, Mirko Vucinic and Jeremy Menez.

It is a head-to-head in the Scudetto race and for Champions League places, not to mention a rivalry that has dominated Italian football over the past five years.

The Nerazzurri have won all but one of their games under Leonardo and he again picks a very attacking line-up.

Dejan Stankovic, MacDonald Mariga, Lucio, Luca Castellazzi, Walter Samuel and the suspended Cristian Chivu are unavailable.
