De Paul wants Udinese exit

Rodrigo de Paul has confirmed that he wants to leave Udinese for a Champions League club this summer.

De Paul has spent the past three seasons with Udinese, his performances helping the Zebrette remain a Serie A club in that time.

However, the Argentina winger says he is ready to ‘take a step forward’ in his career. 

“I want to play in the Champions League, I want to take a step forward in my career,” the 25-year-old told Fox Sports.

Agent: Barca want Lautaro

Lautaro Martinez’s agent has claimed that Barcelona are ‘strongly’ interested in signing the Inter striker.

Inter recently denied speculation of a €112m bid from Barca for Martinez, but Alberto Yaque is adamant the Catalans are actively ‘looking’ at the 22-year-old.

“Talk of Barcelona’s interest is true,” Yaque told Ole.

Inter confirm Lukaku approach

Inter have confirmed that they have made ‘an official approach’ for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.

Inter officials travelled to England for talks with United, who reportedly quoted them an asking price of €85m.

Sporting director Piero Ausilio was among the Nerazzurri’s entourage as they landed back in Milan on Thursday evening.

“We had a meeting with Manchester United for Lukaku,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

Atalanta to play at San Siro

Atalanta will play their Champions League home games at San Siro this season after Milan gave their seal of approval.

Atalanta made the request as their stadium is currently being renovated to meet UEFA standards.

Despite being initially hesitant, the Rossoneri are now in agreement with Inter and Milan’s city council over letting the Dea use the arena.

Reports: Inter set Lukaku price

Manchester United have reportedly slapped an €85m (£76.4m) price tag on striker Romelu Lukaku following talks with Inter.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia, Inter officials met their United counterparts in England on Thursday.

It was there that the Nerazzurri formalised their interest in Lukaku, while a fee and the structure of his transfer were also discussed.

Inter finally agree Barella deal

Inter have finally agreed a deal to sign Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella for a reported €45m plus bonuses.

Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia, Gazzetta dello Sport and Niccolo Ceccarini all report Barella will undergo a medical tomorrow before putting pen to paper on his Inter contract.

While Sky note the Nerazzurri are signing the 22-year-old on loan with an obligation to buy for €45m plus bonuses, Gazzetta counter that it is a €10m loan with a €35m obligation.

Skriniar: Always wanted Inter

Milan Skriniar has reiterated his total commitment to Inter. “I’ve always said that I wanted to stay.”

Skriniar’s performances for Inter over the last two seasons saw him linked with the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City, but the defender signed a new contract in May.

“There’s a great desire to work and improve,” the 24-year-old said from the Nerazzurri’s training camp in Lugano.

Atalanta given San Siro green light?

Milan have finally given Atalanta the green light to play their Champions League home games at San Siro, according to reports.

Inter and Milan’s city council had both already approved of Atalanta’s request, but the Rossoneri were hesitating.

However, Calciomercato.com, Goal.com and Calcio e Finanza all state the Diavolo have now followed suit.

The Orobici made the request as their stadium is currently being renovated to meet UEFA standards.

Inter: Youngster returns to Belgium

Belgium Under-19 midfielder Xian Emmers has left Inter to join Waasland-Beveren on loan with an option to buy.

The deal was confirmed in a statement on Waasland-Beveren’s official website.

Emmers moved to Inter in 2015 and went on to play for their Under-17 and Primavera teams.

The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at Serie B side Cremonese and had been linked with Standard Liege.

He joins a team who finished 12th in the Belgian top flight during the previous campaign.

Aurelio De Laurentiis claims talk of a meeting with Wanda Nara is ‘a load of nonsense’ and hits out at Real Madrid over ‘unfair James Rodriguez demands’.

James has long agreed terms with Napoli, but Madrid are continuing to hold out for a €42m permanent sale, whereas the Partenopei prefer a loan with an option or obligation to buy.
