Cagliari: 'Juve and Chelsea want Donsah'

Cagliari confirm talks with Juventus and Chelsea for Godfred Donsah, but “he needs to grow up with us.”

The 19-year-old Ghanaian midfielder made quite a splash in his debut Serie A season, but could not prevent their relegation.

His agent Olivier Arthur said “Cagliari have just rejected a €6m offer for him, a sign they have no intention of selling.”

Today Sardinian President Tommaso Giulini held a Press conference and was asked about Donsah.

Giulini: ‘Nainggolan to Roma logical’

Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini says Radja Nainggolan’s move to Roma was ‘logical’, and ‘he’ll end his career at Cagliari’.

The Belgian midfielder had previously been co-owned by the Isolani and the Giallorossi, a situation which was only resolved on Wednesday.

“Nainggolan to Roma was the most logical ending,” Giulini told Corriere dello Sport.

“He wanted the Giallorossi, and it’s only right that Roma kept him, because he’s an amazing player who is very attached to that shirt.

Cellino: 'I won't return to Cagliari'

Leeds United chief Massimo Cellino denied suggestions he could go back to Cagliari after their relegation.

The club was in Serie A for 11 years, but this weekend their drop down a division was sealed under new President Tommaso Giulini.

“It’s all rubbish, don’t even think about it,” Cellino told La Gazzetta dello Sport when asked whether he’d return to Sardinia.

Giulini: 'No Zeman regrets'

Cagliari are on the verge of relegation, but President Tommaso Giulini would “choose Zdenek Zeman again a thousand times.”

The Sardinians will go down if Atalanta pick up a point against Genoa, regardless of what result Cagliari get with Palermo.

“I would choose Zeman or Gianfranco Zola again a thousand times,” Giulini told Radiolina.

“However, now I will begin again with a more conservative choice. I hear many names suggested, but I can assure you we haven’t contacted anybody yet.

Cagliari consider Zola alternatives

Cagliari are considering several different alternatives if they sack Gianfranco Zola, including David Suazo.

According to Sky Sport Italia, club President Tommaso Giulini informed Zola that he is considering other options.

Some fans have called for the return of Zdenek Zeman, who was sacked on December 23 to make way for Zola.

That seems the most likely outcome, especially as he is still being paid his wages.

Other Coaches up for the job include Delio Rossi, Serse Cosmi and Claudio Ranieri.

Giulini, who picked up the Isolani’s ownership and presidency in the summer of last year, hopes that this will mean a new start for the Sardinian team.

Zeman risks Cagliari sack?

Cagliari’s continued poor form reportedly has them considering the future of Zdenek Zeman as Coach.

The Rossoblu are currently sitting one point short of climbing out of relegation zone having only won twice all season.

Recent form was worsened in a 3-1 defeat to Juventus yesterday and has prompted early speculation that the Isolani are considering their Coach’s future.
