Falque: 'No Torino fear'

Torino forward Iago Falque is confident they can get good results in Serie A and the Coppa Italia against Roma, Inter and Fiorentina.

The Granata have a tough start to 2019, as they host Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia Round of 16 on January 13, then take on Roma and Inter in Serie A on January 19 and 27.

“They are going to be difficult, but we have generally done well against the bigger clubs and have no reason to be afraid,” Iago Falque told Sky Sport Italia.

Falque: ‘Torino my home’

Iago Falque confirms “at Torino I’ve found my home”, after signing a new contract with the club last month.

It appeared that the Spanish winger may be sold over the summer, but the Granata decided against it and eventually gave the 28-year-old a new deal.

“At Torino I’ve found my home, my stability,” Falque confirmed in an interview with SportPesa.

Official: Falque renews with Torino

Torino have officially announced that Spanish winger Iago Falque has extended his contract until 2022.

The former Juventus man joined the Granata from Roma and looked close to leaving in the summer, but he has now committed his future to Toro.

“Torino Football Club is pleased to announce that it has renewed the contract of the player Iago Falque until 30 June 2022,” a short statement on the club’s website reads.

The 28-year-old has two goals and two assists in nine Serie A appearances this season.

Falque has posted the best numbers of his career in two years at Toro, and the winger made it clear he was committed to the Granata, despite speculation linking him with a return to Spain last summer.

Falque to extend at Torino

Torino have reportedly agreed a new contract with Iago Falque until June 2022.

The 28-year-old Spaniard has been at Toro since 2016 and his current deal is due to expire in June 2020.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the club and his entourage have now reached an agreement for an extension to 2022.

A basic deal had been done for some time, but the details took a lot of whittling down.

It’s believed Falque will put pen to paper on the new contract next week.

Cairo: 'Falque yes, no Candreva'

Torino President Urbano Cairo announced a new contract for Iago Falque, but laughed off links with Antonio Candreva and Manuel Lazzari.

“We are very close to a deal with Iago Falque,” Cairo told Sky Sport Italia.

“We really appreciate him, as he has had two fantastic seasons. We’re close, we have a basic agreement, he is happy to remain at Toro and we will certainly sign the renewal very soon.”

'Frosinone game of their lives’

Torino Coach Walter Mazzarri warns “Frosinone will play the game of their lives” tomorrow night.
