Report: Ljajic accepts Torino move

Adem Ljajic appears to have finally accepted a transfer to Torino after weeks of hesitation from the Roma forward.

The Serbia international had been set to make the move last month along with teammate Iago Falque.

He took his time and wanted to consider all options, including Celta Vigo, but Roma lost patience and set an ultimatum this weekend.

According to Sky Sport Italia and other sources, the decision has finally been made and Ljajic will accept the transfer.

Falque ready for Toro, Ljajic ultimatum

Iago Falque will join Torino on Monday, but Roma have set Adem Ljajic an ultimatum.

The deal was done several weeks ago for Toro to sign both Falque and Ljajic from the Giallorossi.

While the former was immediately enthusiastic about the move, Ljajic has been dragging his heels.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Tuttosport, Falque will join Torino on Monday regardless.

Roma have now set an ultimatum for Ljajic to make up his mind on the Granata move this weekend or abandon the negotiations.

Ljajic accepts Torino move?

Torino seem to have finally convinced Adem Ljajic to accept the move along with Roma teammate Iago Falque.

The two clubs have been in agreement for several weeks, but Ljajic has been holding everything up.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Serbia international has put his doubts behind him.

His agent should finalise personal terms with Toro between Monday and Tuesday, while Iago Falque is ready to go.

The Granata will also meet with Emanuele Giaccherini’s agent on Sunday to work on that transfer from Sunderland.

Torino work Ljajic, Falque deals

Torino have a deal in place with Roma to sign Iago Falque, but Adem Ljajic's salary remains a problem.

The two players are both expected to wear the Granata colours next season, with the Spaniard joining on a loan with a buy-back clause, and the Serbian being sold outright. In both cases, the price will be €7-8m.

The next step for Torino is to find an agreement with the individual players.

Cairo: ‘Optimistic for Ljajic, Falque’

Torino President Urbano Cairo is “optimistic” about signing Roma’s Iago Falque and Adem Ljajic.

It was reported yesterday that the Granata had agreed a deal to bring the pair to Turin, with Ljajic arriving permanently and Falque joining on loan with an option to buy.

“We’re thinking about making the right moves and giving our Coach [Sinisa] Mihajlovic a team which is worthy and competitive,” Cairo told reporters.

Ljajic and Falque for Torino

Torino have reportedly agreed terms with Roma to sign Adem Ljajic permanently plus Iago Falque on loan with option to buy.

Their interest in the pair has been known for many weeks now, but negotiations stepped up over the last few days.

According to Sky Sport Italia and several newspapers, the two clubs have agreed basic terms.

Ljajic will be sold outright to Toro, while Falque arrives on loan with an option to buy.

The only sticking point now is waiting for the two players to give the all-clear.

Roma could offer Iago Falque to Torino as part of an exchange for €10m-rated Brazilian right-back Bruno Peres.

Roma: Falque out, Peres in?

Roma will reportedly fight PSG to sign Torino full-back Bruno Peres, while Toro want Giallorossi winger Iago Falque.

The capital club were interested in signing the Brazilian right-back last summer and he remains one of their main targets.

Tuttosport reports today that Roma are ready to launch a new assault for Peres and are willing to take on big-spending PSG for his signature.

The French champions are willing to pay €20m and offer the Brazilian a €2.8m per year salary, according to the newspaper.
