Milan confirmed their perfect start to the season with another victory, decided by Franck Kessie and Brahim Diaz, although Ante Rebic’s injury cast a shadow over the Crotone game.

The Rossoneri have won all their fixtures so far this term, between Serie A and the Europa League.

Even without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Kessie converted a penalty and Brahim Diaz celebrated his first Diavolo goal.

Pioli wants 'the real Milan'

Stefano Pioli has urged his team to play like ‘the real Milan’ in Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s absence, calling the next seven days ‘very important’.

Milan start the new Serie A season at Crotone later today and will also be playing for a place in the Europa League group stage when they travel to Rio Ave next week.

“I’m very happy with what we’re doing right now, but seven very important days await us,” Pioli said at a press conference.

Official: Crotone sign Reca

Serie A new boys Crotone have signed Atalanta full-back Arkadiusz Reca on a season-long loan with option to buy.

Reca spent last season on loan at SPAL, providing three assists in 26 appearances.

He returned to Atalanta over the summer, but his route to their first team has been further blocked by the arrivals of Johan Mojica and Cristiano Piccini.

The 25-year-old has eight caps for Poland and can play anywhere down the left-hand side.
