Juve: Agnelli 'wants Pirlo back'

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli reportedly wants Andrea Pirlo to return to the club as a coach.

According to Tuttosport, Pirlo has been offered roles with Juve’s Under-23 and Primavera teams, both of whom have managerial vacancies.

Furthermore, he has been in ‘direct contact’ with prospective new Bianconeri boss Maurizio Sarri over forming part of the Coach’s backroom staff.

Sky: Agnelli avoided Sarri

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli left Baku before the Europa League Final and reportedly did not meet Maurizio Sarri.

The Bianconeri patron was in Azerbaijan today and checked into the same hotel where Sarri and the Chelsea squad were staying ahead of tonight’s match with Arsenal.

However, Agnelli was there representing UEFA and the Executive Committee.

Report: Agnelli meets Sarri

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli reportedly met Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri at his hotel in Baku.

Tuttosport spotted Agnelli checking into the Four Seasons Hotel, where Sarri and the Chelsea squad are staying ahead of their Europa League Final against Arsenal.

The newspaper explains the Juve patron is officially in Azerbaijan representing UEFA, given he is on its Executive Committee.

However, the pair would have crossed paths and greeted each other, emphasising the Coach’s ‘great feeling’ with the Bianconeri.

Agnelli 'travels to Baku for Sarri'

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli will reportedly travel to Baku for the Europa League Final between Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea and Arsenal.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Agnelli wants to see Sarri’s work ‘up close’ on Wednesday before appointing him as Juve’s new Coach.

The website adds the patron wants to return to Turin with an agreement between him and the former Napoli boss.

La Stampa, meanwhile, claims there will be a meeting with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia 24 hours later to dissolve Sarri’s contract.
