Allegri: 'Had Juve plans for six months'

Max Allegri insists he had the Juventus project “in mind for six months” and will see if it coincides with the club’s view. “If I hadn’t brought in trophies, they’d have burned me at the stake!”

Champions League reforms leaked

According to The New York Times, leaked UEFA documents show proposed Champions League reforms would turn it into a calcified SuperLeague.

UEFA have so far resisted the plans for a breakaway SuperLeague and offered to change the format of the existing Champions League in order to prevent those clubs creating a rival tournament.

However, the leaked proposals seem to suggest it’s not a world away from that ideal, cutting out most European clubs and with minimal risk of relegation.

Reports: Conte to Juve, Allegri-PSG

Multiple sources now claim Max Allegri has agreed to leave Juventus this summer, probably for PSG, with Antonio Conte the favourite to replace him.

Sport Mediaset, La Stampa, La Repubblica and more all have the same story, suggesting Allegri and President Andrea Agnelli have decided to part ways after five years together.

The Bianconeri have won eight consecutive Serie A titles, three of them under Conte and the following five with Allegri on the bench.

Report: Allegri to quit Juventus?

There are growing rumours that Max Allegri will announce his Juventus future over the next 48 hours and it could be an exit.

The Coach stated multiple times that he intends to stay in Turin after helping the club to their eighth consecutive Serie A title, his personal fifth in a row.

However, he will have a summit with President Andrea Agnelli to discuss transfer strategy and that is where the decision will be made.

According to Sport Mediaset reporter Bruno Longhi, Allegri is due to announce his departure from Juventus on Thursday.

Report: Allegri to meet Juve

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli will reportedly hold a ‘decisive’ meeting with Max Allegri in the coming weeks.

Allegri and Agnelli confirmed they would continue working together after Juve’s Champions League exit to Ajax on Tuesday, but it was reported on Wednesday that the club had held preliminary talks with Antonio Contre over a return.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the meeting will be held once the Bianconeri mathematically secure the Scudetto.

Juventus ultras protest Agnelli

Juventus ultras have not stopped their protest against the club and President Andrea Agnelli over ticket prices.

Tonight’s Champions League quarter-final against Ajax is expected to break the record set by their Round of 16 tie against Atletico Madrid for revenue from a single match at the Allianz Juventus Stadium.

However, the ultras group Drughi placed banners outside the arena covered in fake Euro symbols.
