Parma offered Serie B hope

Parma have announced that there is a ‘common desire’ for the club to continue in Serie B after meeting with the FIGC.

The Ducali have been declared bankrupt, and will need to be funded by the Lega Serie A until the end of the season in order to complete their fixtures.

If a new buyer can pay off the club’s €74m sporting debt before the end of June, then the Emilian side will be allowed to play in Serie B next season when they are relegated at the end of this term.

If not, the club faces starting again from the amateur Leagues.
