Sino-Europe threaten legal action

The Sino-Europe Sports group are threatening legal action after reports emerged that they had provided Milan with a false bank guarantee.

The Chinese consortium reached a deal to buy the Rossoneri from President Silvio Berlusconi’s holding company, Fininvest, last month. They have since paid a deposit of €100m and are due to conclude their takeover before the end of the year.

Berlusconi: ‘Crazy to turn back’

Milan Vice-president Paolo Berlusconi insists there is no problem with a Chinese consortium’s ongoing takeover of the club.

Berlusconi: Painful but necessary

Silvio Berlusconi has described his decision to sell Milan to Chinese investors was ‘painful but necessary.’

The 79-year-old has brought his reign as Rossoneri President to an end by agreeing to allow Yonghong Li to complete a €740m takeover at San Siro.

Speaking briefly to a reporter, the former Italy Prime Minister also revealed he accepted a cut-price valuation of the club so long as there was a commitment to invest in new players.

Montella pays Berlusconi tribute

Milan Coach Vincenzo Montella has thanked Silvio Berlusconi for everything he has done as Rossoneri President.

It was announced on Friday that the 79-year-old is selling the club to a Chinese consortium after 30 years in charge at San Siro.

Speaking to journalists at Malpensa airport after returning from Milan’s pre-season tour of the United States, the tactician also admitted that he didn’t know much about the Rossoneri’s new owners.
