Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer could potentially be on the market, with Arsenal and clubs from Saudi Arabia interested.

The Algeria international is under contract until June 2027, but Calciomercato.it insist that the Rossoneri would be prepared to sell for circa €50m.

They purchased him from Empoli in the summer of 2019 for €17.2m and he only recently made his comeback after six months out with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

He made 15 appearances in all competition so far this season, providing one assist.

The Saudi Pro League had already shown an interest in Bennacer, but the most likely candidate is Arsenal.

This would be a return to base for the midfielder, who was already on Arsenal’s books from 2015 to 2017, before his €1m sale to Empoli in the summer of 2017.

Milan have many other options already in the squad, including Yacine Adli, Tijjani Reijnders and Yunus Musah, while Tommaso Pobega returned to training today.
