Brescia interrupted by traffic cops

A day after Brescia fired their Coach, new boss Pasquale Marino’s first training session was interrupted by traffic police wielding fines.

The club, which since August has been owned by former Cagliari and Leeds United President Massimo Cellino, is going through a rough patch.

Roberto Boscaglia was sacked and replaced by Marino, who had his first training session on Thursday.

Serie B: Cellino sacks Brescia boss

Serie B side Brescia and their owner Massimo Cellino have fired Coach Roberto Boscaglia and are due to appoint Pasquale Marino.

Cellino only recently returned to Italian football after his spell in England with Leeds United, but is wasting no time living up to his reputation.

Boscaglia took charge of this morning’s training session, but was given his marching orders in the afternoon.

Official: Marino for Frosinone

Pasquale Marino is officially the new Coach of recently-relegated Frosinone on a one-year contract.

The Canarini made the announcement this evening, noting he will hold a Press conference on June 16.

Marino replaces Roberto Stellone, who parted company with the club by mutual consent.

Frosinone had their first ever Serie A campaign, but were relegated in penultimate place.

Marino: ‘Proud of Vicenza’

Vicenza Coach Pasquale Marino is proud of his players after their Coppa Italia exit - “the lads gave everything”.

The Lanerossi were beaten 2-1 by Serie A side Carpi at Stadio Alberto Braglia this evening, but the tactician can’t fault his players.

“We didn’t come into this match in the best condition,” Marino explained to Rai after the final whistle.

Serie B: Pescara sack Marino

Pescara have officially sacked Coach Pasquale Marino following a sixth consecutive Serie B defeat.

The Delfini fell 1-0 away to Bari this afternoon and that proved the final straw for the club.

A statement was released confirming Marino has been removed from his post, but so far no new Coach has been appointed.
