Matri weighs up his options

Alessandro Matri has reportedly declined an approach by Pescara and has been keeping fit by training with Monza whilst he weighs up his options.

The 35-year-old left Sassuolo in January and is currently on the market as a free agent, but Gianluca Di Marzio reports that he has rejected the opportunity to sign with Pescara this month.

The Sky Sport Italia journalist continues to write that Matri has used his link with Monza coach Cristian Brocchi from his time at Milan – to stay in shape ahead of his next move.
