Tottenham favourites for Hysaj

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly the favourites for Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj, ahead of Roma after Atletico Madrid ended their interest.

Atletico Madrid pulled out of the race after purchasing Kieran Trippier from Spurs.

Ironically, Tottenham are now looking to the Albania international as a replacement for Trippier.

According to Radio Kiss Kiss, the Premier League outfit are now the favourites for Hysaj, although Roma interest also remains.

Cutrone not convinced by Wolves

Milan striker Patrick Cutrone isn’t convinced by a move to Wolves, which could reportedly have an impact on the Angel Correa deal.

The Rossoneri are keen to sign the Atletico Madrid forward, but with a €55m asking price they’ll need to sell players before they can buy.

It was reported this week that super-agent Jorge Mendes is working on moving André Silva to Monaco and Cutrone to the Premier League, as well as pushing for Correa to join Milan.

Report: Demiral on United radar

Juventus defender Merih Demiral has reportedly emerged as a target for Manchester United.

Turkish-Football.com cites an unnamed source close to Demiral, who claims United have made enquiries for the stopper.

Juve have already made it clear that they will only consider selling the 21-year-old for a considerable profit, already turning down a loan proposal from Milan.

However, United appear to view him as a younger and cheaper alternative to Leicester City's Harry Maguire.

Parma interrupt Schiappacasse loan

Parma have ended Nicolas Schiappacasse’s loan early, so Atletico Madrid sent the Uruguayan back out to Famalicao.

The 20-year-old winger scored 21 goals in 47 caps for Uruguay at Under-20 level and joined Parma on what was meant to be an 18-month loan in January.

However, he made only three Serie A appearances for the Ducali, one start and two late cameos off the bench.

The two clubs terminated the loan early by mutual consent and Schiappacasse has now joined Portuguese club Famalicao until June 2020.

Napoli & Inter fight for Pepe

Napoli are reportedly set to offer €55m plus Adam Ounas for Lille forward Nicolas Pepe, but Inter have already bid €80m including bonuses.

According to Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla, Napoli’s insistence on a loan deal for James Rodriguez is because they are ready to splash the cash on Pepe.

Pedulla explains the Partenopei have been working on a deal for ‘some time’, even before their interest in James, and have decided to table a bid of €50-55m plus Adam Ounas.

Napoli: Madrid 'could keep James'

Real Madrid could reportedly keep Napoli target James Rodriguez if they sell Isco for €80m.

James’ proposed move to Napoli remains on a knife edge as despite him being ready to join the club, they have yet to agree a deal with Madrid.

Now, AS is claiming that while Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane was unhappy with James’ attitude during the 2016-17 campaign - his last before being loaned to Bayern Munich - both he and the club still recognise the Colombian’s quality.
