Kaka: Europe further away

Ricky Kaka has conceded that Milan’s task of qualifying for Europe for next year has become that much harder following Coppa Italia elimination.

The Rossoneri were knocked out of the competition at the quarter-final stage on Wednesday evening, following a disappointing 2-1 defeat at home to Udinese.

“The club had given us the task of getting to the final of the Coppa Italia,” began Kaka on Rai Sport post-match.

Lazio await Hernanes offers

Whilst the player is seen to be open to extending his contract, Lazio are believed ready to wait for offers to come in for playmaker Hernanes.

The Brazilian has been consistently linked with a move away from the Olimpico, with a number of parties said to have tracked him during his three-and-a-half years so far in the capital.

Il Messagero report today that whilst the 28-year-old has looked to commit once more to the Aquile in the form of opening contract renewal talks, the club are thinking otherwise.

'Inter? It would be an honour'

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has revealed that he would consider a move back to Inter.

Robinho: Santos move unlikely

Robinho has conceded that his rumoured move to Santos is unlikely to happen any time soon.

The Milan forward has been linked with a switch back to Brazil for the past 18 months, but the forward has this evening admitted that a transfer is not in the pipeline.

“Will I return to Santos? It's difficult to return now because I have a contract with Milan. My future belongs to God,” he told GloboEsporte.com.”
