Maxi Lopez to leave Toro

Maxi Lopez is expected to leave Torino after failing to agree terms on a contract extension.

The Argentine striker’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season.

Although in previous months the two parties had been closer to an agreement, Sky Sport Italia claim talks have definitively broken down.

That means Maxi Lopez will be a free agent in June and from January can start negotiations with other clubs.

He only arrived in January from Chievo and will be 32 by the end of the current campaign.
