Vincenzo Montella believes Milan “will learn” from their Coppa Italia defeat to Juventus. “We are on the right track.”

Coppa: Juventus see off Milan

Juventus knocked 10-man Milan out of the Coppa Italia after a 2-1 victory and go on to face Napoli in the semi-final.

Juventus and Napoli will meet in the Coppa Italia semi-final in Turin on March 1 and at the Stadio San Paolo on April 5. By a curious twist of fate, these sides will also clash in Serie A on the weekend of April 2 in Naples.

Galliani: 'Milan have identity'

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani believes that the club 'have an identity' since adopting the policy of fielding their young players.

The 72-year-old also hailed Coach Vincenzo Montella, admitting that the club brought him on board with the philosophy of youth in mind.

"The corporate policy adopted by President Berlusconi since he signed is now bearing fruit," Galliani told Teleradiostereo.

"But I must admit that I did not expect that Milan could do so well this season.

Italy: Locatelli in get-together

Giampiero Ventura has called up 22 players from Serie A and B for an Italy get-together, including Milan’s Manuel Locatelli and Atalanta’s Andrea Petagna.

The Coach wanted this ‘stage’ at the Coverciano training ground to get a better look at players who could receive full Italy call-ups in future, as there won’t be another match until 2017.

Naturally, these are all players who won’t be involved in European club football next week.

The squad will attend from Monday November 21 to Wednesday November 23.
