Report: Inter push for Bale

Inter are reportedly in talks to bring Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale to the club.

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane recently confirmed Bale was on his way out of the Santiago Bernabeu, admitting ‘if he can go tomorrow, it would be better’.

A return to Tottenham Hotspur and a lucrative move to China were quickly put forward, but Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira claims Inter now want to give Antonio Conte a ‘big signing’.

Real Madrid super offer for Pogba

Real Madrid have offered €75m plus either Gareth Bale or Isco for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, claim English reports.

Pogba remains a Juventus target, although he is low on the list of priorities right now, as the Matthijs de Ligt deal has to be done with Ajax first.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Real Madrid hope to take advantage of that situation by diving in with an early bid.

That would be €75m plus either Bale or Isco to Manchester United.

Antognoni: 'Chiesa a young Bale'

Fiorentina director and club legend Giancarlo Antognoni has called Federico Chiesa “a young Gareth Bale who drives you crazy.”

The winger is only 21 years old, but has already notched up 100 competitive games in a Viola jersey, along with 11 senior Italy caps.

“The truth is that Chiesa is a European level player, not one traditionally associated with Italians,” Antognoni told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Ancelotti: 'Bale too egotistical'

Carlo Ancelotti reveals the reason he left Real Madrid was a row with Florentino Perez over Gareth Bale’s “egotistic” attitude.

The Coach is currently at Napoli and has said they don’t score enough goals because they are too altruistic, but he warns there is a danger of going too far the other way too.

“Altruism in a squad is important, because if there’s something that drives me mad, it’s people who are egotistic in a match situation,” Ancelotti told Il Napolista.

Calderon: 'Zidane quit over Ronaldo'

Zinedine Zidane left Real Madrid because he wanted to sell Gareth Bale rather than Cristiano Ronaldo, claims Ramon Calderon.

Zidane’s decision to walk away at the end of last season following a record third consecutive Champions League trophy surprised many.

It was followed a few weeks later by Ronaldo’s €100m transfer to Juventus and it seems the two were connected.

“Zidane insisted on keeping Cristiano and selling Bale,” former President Calderon told AS.

‘Bale to Juventus not impossible’

Gareth Bale’s agent replies “nothing is impossible” when asked if the Real Madrid forward could join Juventus in the future.

The Welshman is expected to be one of the leaders at the Bernabeu after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, but he could follow the Portuguese to Turin one day.

“Gareth is very happy at Real Madrid, but if we’re talking about the future then nothing is impossible in the transfer market,” Jonathan Barnett told Tuttosport.
